Additional activities including horse-riding, ultimate crafts and robotics can be booked in advance for students wishing to further develop their skills.

Students are typically accommodated in well-maintained boarding houses, featuring comfortable single, double, and small dorm rooms with shared bathrooms. The houses include spacious common rooms and living areas where students can relax and socialise, with facilities for watching films, playing pool, or ping pong. SBC Canford boasts impressive grounds with 10 boarding houses and state-of-the-art facilities including a theatre, music school and art studios. The campus also offers an excellent variety of sporting possibilities too - there are multiple tennis courts, football and cricket grounds, a dance studio and an indoor swimming pool.

Pickup Options

To support students upon their arrival in the UK, SBC offers a shared transfer service (at an additional charge). SBC recognise that our students’ summer school experience begins when they leave home, and we want them to arrive in the UK feeling safe and excited for their time at Summer School. Services are available to and from Heathrow Airport and St Pancras during set times on arrival and departure days.
