Students are encouraged to take advantage of the full London experience against the vibrant multicultural backdrop of the East End! Build friendships, try out new things and immerse yourself in British culture, from its art to cuisine! Choose from two different social programmes (additional charge) and see London’s most famous sights such as Big Ben and The London Eye, join an East End art tour or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tour, see a West End theatre show (Wicked or The Lion King) or visit the mystical Stonehenge – and more! There are also complimentary welcome and farewell events to help you make friends and keep in touch long after your summer course has come to an end!

Accommodation consists of single en-suite bedrooms in Queen Mary University’s student halls of residence at its central London-located Mile End Campus). Bedding and towels are included.

Mile End Campus, part of Queen Mary University of London, is situated in the diverse and vibrant East End of London and of great interest, therefore, to the summer school student. . Surrounding areas include trendy neighborhoods like Shoreditch and Brick Lane. Facilities include modern classrooms, research labs, libraries, sports facilities, and student accommodation. Self Travel

To reach Mile End Campus in London by plane and train, fly into London Heathrow Airport (LHR), London Gatwick Airport (LGW), or London Stansted Airport (STN). From Heathrow or Gatwick, they can take the Heathrow Express or Gatwick Express to central London, then transfer to the London Underground (Tube). From Stansted, take a direct train to Liverpool Street Station. From central London, use the Tube to reach Mile End station, which is near the campus.
