Course Summary
Learn the legends of history – what made countries famous, why wars were fought and how the most influential leaders rose to power. Through a mix of solo study and collaborative group sessions, you’ll learn about ancient, medieval or modern topics that are full of lessons for today, such as the fall of the roman empire, the industrial revolution, or the cold war. We’ll also cover analysing different sources, sorting factual accounts from biased ones and strengthening our debating skills as amateur historians.
